Super Dad Forever

Today I was watching India vs Pakistan world cup match and was very excited about the game, you all must be too. But I know a guy who would be surely super excited for this match... Guess who? That person is my dad :-). He is super crazy for cricket, if anytime any cricket match of India is in progress, then he literally forgets about the world and do not care what is going on around him and there is a reason why he is such a cricket freak :-p. There is a whole long history behind this. Here it goes:

My father was born and raised in a small village and as a child there was no much activity to pursue on rather than to play Cricket, so as a result, an aptitude towards this game engendered in him. He enjoyed playing Cricket like he was the Sachin Tendulkar of his era, even though my family members didn't support him and didn't give a crap for his interest in this field, he never abdicated playing it and neither lost his interest.

I still remember the time when I was very young and he always used to take me along with him if any ongoing tournaments were on run. I don't recall the reason why, but I think I acted as a catalyst to perform well for the match as no father would want to perform poorly in front of his child. Finally, after all his hard work, practice and experience, he became the captain of his team and stayed the same till he retired from Cricket.

He may not be capable of playing now because of his age, but still I see glitter in his eyes when he watches any Cricket match and often gives his suggestions to the players even after knowing that they could not listen to him in the television. I guess, maybe he sees himself playing in these matches or maybe he wishes he could play a bit more. But, what I see in him is a hope, a true inspiration and a passion for the things you love. Though I may not become as great as my father, but what I can become is a caring child who will always be there for him no matter what... I will try to become the bat by which he used to score his hundreds and cherished every moment of his life...
This whole story is dedicated to my dad :-* I love him and be always will but there is a message for all of you too....

Always remember no matter what happens in your life, never leave your parents in any case because you are their hope, their life, their dreams and above all their children...
Love your parents and make them proud: -)
